NOT....k so i went on a 4 day trip to tremblant and left my car parked at home. I come home this afternoon and its berried in a snowbank so i shovel it out and get it started no problems. 5 min later i try to start it up again and nooooo. Doesn't start. it tries to turnover sometimes but wont. And i can hear a clicking from all the power locks when it tries to startand the alarm keeps acting up and i dont know what it could be as i already tried jumping it but still no luck. Any would be great .thanks guys..ohh and its a 2000 sir.

Check your starter & battery, and all connections to them. Clean the facking battery teminals. Check all the grounds. Post by 7pm sharp with your findings, mishaps, and altogether entertaining stories.

Your whole alarm/power locks thing sounds related to an alarm problem - maybe an ignition immobilizer or something..

If it happens again I would definitely guess that it's alarm related and will haunt the hell out of you...

Good that it's going again...

k well my car really does like to play tricks....i replaced the battery after thats what initially thought it was buttt nooooo after a 180$ odyssey battery it happened again so now im positive its not that. It will start up fine then stall half way down my drive way and will start idle rough and then die again. try a few times and wait a bit and then it will start fine and run no problem. its only happened twice in a month so i dont know what it could be. But if im correct it only seems to happen after i start it using the auto start or it could just be purely coincidence and have nothing to do with it. i have no idea...any thought would be appreciated thanks.

what happens then you start the car with the key and not the auto start

if you have no problems starting with the key it could be your autostart is some how screwing things up

it doesn't do it every time with the autostart tho and i use the auto start most everytime i start my car to be honest so im not quite sure why it only acts up sometimes. I havent been using my autostart lately so im going to see if it does it again or not.

i love it when people replace parts assuming the problem...
