Check engine help

Hey guys, I got 1 blink....1blink......7 blinks. (repeat) what would that be?

Civic Si 91, ZC SOHC engine with PM6 EF Si ECU

do you mean 2 long then 7 short blinks??
I know that if its 9 short blinks, its a sensor in the dizzy...

I cant say if the first 2 are "long". They are longer than the 7 quick flashs tho!
I checked on Honda-tech and there's no code 27, as thats what i first thought it was.
Very weird!!! could it be 1 and 2 and 7? or 2 and 7?
7 is TPS. Now when i give her.. it tend to choke and then the power "unleash".


Any thoughts?

got a spare dizzy??? Try it if so and you will be eliminating those 3 dizzy sensors if it still has the same problem...

simon, take off the plate that covers the ECU and take off the harness from the ecu. They can get super shitty with all the water and salt.

I'm gonna guess its just a bad signal at your ECU. Check for corrosion, and pull the wires, make sure they don't move inside the connector.

Yeah here another thing of my story.

I raced a guy until i got to the skatepark. I stopped the car, talked with my buddies for about 2-3 min. The guy followed me and ask me to take him again. We left the skatepark and got to the street. I was getting on the street and nothing happened. It didnt stall, it stayed on idle even if i had 1/4 throttle open. Check Engine light up. I stopped on the side, stop the car. Restart the car, the check engine light up again, give some gaz.. no trouble, except for the light.

I get to the guy, we race again, no trouble there. I still have the light and the car runs. It tends to choke when i give her, but it get back the power right away!

Since then... CEL opens 5 sec after i start my car.

I also need to change my fuel filter... if that help the diagnostic.

I'm pretty sure now I'm running lean as fuck! Good possibility of the O2 sensor faillure! DAmmit!
