the engine went on my 98 honda civic hatchback. I'm looking to throw in a full swap (engine and tranny). I am wondering which swap would be the best between 92/95 D15b Jdm of the Jdm 92/95 zc dohc. I'm not looking to turbo and i don't have the cash for a B16 :( , i'd put maybe and intake and a flywheel thats it. Which one would be the best bet interms of performance and reliability??? thanks

I have always liked the DOHC ZC. It feels a lot more torquey than the D15B. Doing that means a little less trouble with the ECU/Wiring.

i like the d15b. they love boost.
11 psi on a t28 ghetto settup with a cx tranny 14.0 @103.8mph
not bad for a budget setup.
witha good tune they are very reliable.
this is also a very fun and fast spooling setup. very streetable
my buddy has this setup in his car and im sure we could arrange a ride for ya
