Looking into buying a GPS in the next few days for my upcoming trips.
And I was wondering which one do you guys have? And what are the pros/cons of that particular unit?
I'm more or less debating between the Garmin NUVI 250 and the TomTom One XL.

garmin nuvi 350/360 is the best you can get. A little expensive but worth it.
Tomtom is awesome but the maps are outdated

Just make sure it can give you 10 figure grid references and you will be good to go.

Yeah, after reading quite a few reviews, the Garmin seems to be the better choice. The Nuvi 250 is very similar to the 350/360 as per what I saw. Other then the text-to-speech function that the 350 has, there's not really any other feature that I'd be interested in. And the 25o is on sale at BB, so I'll be able to get FS to price match it at 110%. Any other place other then BB, FS and Canadacomputers that would sell GPS? The Garmin Nuvi 250 in particuler? Staples didn't really have much of a selection...

Check costco.ca. I can't remember which ones they have but I do believe they carry Garmin.

Garmin C320. It's rather old, but it's practical and it gets the job done. I'd get it off of a reputable seller on eBay. These things are pretty durable. You'd save close to $200 as opposed to buying it locally with tax. The exchange rate right now is nuts.

Well, the model above that one (C330) is on sale at Future Shop for $299, and went to see it. But it's to bulky to fit in my pockets and was told that it's a 2yr old discontinued model. He did say that for the price its a good deal, but I'll be picking up the slimer, newer Garmin Nuvi 250 once they get it back in stock for $449 - the $399 price match from BestBuy.

After ALOT of research I got the Garmin Nuvi 250 at Future Shop. They have it for $449, but told the guy that costco had it cheaper at $379. He ends up going on costco.COM instead of costco.CA. Well, it turns out that it was $299 at costco.COM and I got one heck of a deal!
Also, loving the unit up to now, but we'll know more about it once I come back from my trip to Florida using the GPS to guide me.

Really good price! But FutureShop doesnt match TigerDirect I beleive, since it's an online store, and I had a bunch of FutureShop gift cards.
