S.U. carb problems. NEED HELP.

soo car floaded and it seems that it floods at idle when completly drained. is this the float in the carb, not functioning or........could i change the engine too a b23 or 302 and get rid of this headache. i already spent about 1500 in getting the exhuast and carb fixed.

What do you meen by "completely drained"? Sounds like it could be a float problem...

fuel is drained out of carb then fuel line reconnected
