I have an engine I'm building. Everything is fine with the exception of where a bracket that puts tension on the altenator bolts onto the engine block. One bolt is fine but the other doesn't seem to have any threads left inside the hole so there's nothing for the bolt to grab on to.

I'm thinking that a heli coil would work but I don't know where to get them and how they're installed.

Any other suggestions or info on heli coils would be appreciated :D

i got mine at this big nut and bolt store but I cant remember the name of the place now. Ottawa fasteners or something.

Anyways, take you time drilling the hole out straight and its super easy to do.
