ok kind of a noob with 1/8th track, a 6.4 second car on a 1/8th is usually about what on a 1/4 mile track( jamesmatt race) , no doubt there fast but are they in the 9's or 10's? nice videos :D

A 6.4 is about at 9.98 in the 1/4. Those are the semi-pro cars. A few of the street cars were running 5.70-5.90 which is about 8.9 - 9.1 in the 1/4.
Here is a converter for 1/8th - 1/4

I see wheelie bars, slicks and chutes.
Badass, but hardly street cars under any definition...

Street cars for sure.
If it's plated, insured, and can be driven on the street regularily, it's a streetcar.
Fuel mileage, ac, and cruise, is irrelevant.

I didn't see a single set of plates on any of those cars.
Thank you, come again...

Sure, I can accept that. Just let me know which of those cars swapped tires and drove home after the race.
Inform yourself princess.
 It'd be a fair bet that I've been racing at luskville since before you were born. But thanks for your input...

These 2 guys are plated & insured. The one of the left ran 5.72, and I have seen him at B&A, I think he's been to M&M too. His name is Chris and he drives a black trans-am. Paulo Guist is in the video lane with his Camaro. You can see his "stinker" plate. He ran a 5 something too.

There were both street and race cars there on Saturday.

If you were racing before '74 you win. Anyone who has been racing for that long would be aware of what a streetcar is in dragracing circles.

In a dragracing circle, a streetcar is anything that doesn't have a filled block and can run for more then 5 minutes straight. The definition of a street car for drag racing buffs is ridiculous. Chris's car is very very fast. It is driven on the street. But it isn't a true streetcar in my opinion.
It's a race car that is plated and runs cheater slicks on the street.

Streetcar.
If someone can get into his hotrod, go for a cruise Friday night around town, then get up in the morning head to the strip and nail off some single digit passes, it's a street car. A badass streetcar. It does NOT have to be driven daily, it does NOT have to get 20-30mpg, , it does NOT have to be driven on the QW at 130 with the cruise and AC blasting.
Plated, liability, DOT tires. I do think it should be able to cruise reliably.
