Hi.

Im reading this http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread/1508680. D series, OBD-0 -> OBD-1 conversion.

Tho... The post is about PR3 to P30. Going from a PM6 to P06 here... Am I screwed up?

The reason Id like to be doing this is because the OBD1 ecu are faster, better and quite well documented. But here Im on a stop.

For the job, I need to know what are the parts Ill need to gather before proceding. Its a very complex job and Im pretty sure I wont be able to do it by myself.

I have, P06, OBD-1 O2 sensor (4 wires vs 1 or 2 in OBD-0). What else? Is there any other difference between OBD-0 and 1 (parts wise).

Do I use my OBD-0 connectors for the ECU?

Anyone ever done this and would be willing to lend a hand and brain?

Ill continue my research at the same time!!

You will need a conversion harness for OBD0-> OBD1 I think there is a company like rywire who makes it. You will need an OBD1 distributor too. You can also get a conversion harness for that too.

Do what Michael says.. it's the easiest/cheapest/most reliable way.

I tried the others... nightmares.

Get both harnesses( dizzy and ecu), new ecu, new dizzy and a new o2 sensor with 4 wires... Bosch sensors are fairly cheap @ Ct.
