Here is your chance to see some real wheel to wheel racing this weekend.

The Motorsport Club of Ottawa is holding its annual Ted Powell memorial race weekend at Calabogie Motorsports Park.

Ontario Challenge Cup GT Sprints
Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship (CCTCC)
Isseco F1200 Championship
Ontario Challenge Cup Formula Sprints
Ontario Formula Ford Challenge
VARAC Vintage/Historic
VARAC G70+

I will be running the #120 VW Jetta in the CCTCC.

i'll be there watching for part of the day.. was going to volunteer, but work schedule prevented that. Should be fun, the track is awesome!

He wouldn't be in the same class, but he may be running in the CCTCC, although, I don't remember seeing any 3 rotor cars running in the region at all??!?!!?!?

The team (Can-Saf Motorsports) is actually based out of Oshawa. The 3 rotor they have in their race car is N/A. They have a street car as well with a 3 rotor but it's got a gt42 turbo on it.

Ah, OK. He is having a VERY close race in the standings with Sasha in his Nissan "Silvia" in the GT class of the CCTCC.
