Synoptic Tuning in Montreal did an excellent job tuning my car on there DynoPak. There customer service was well above average as well!
The numbers are on the graph....DynoPaks apparently read higher then Mustang or dynojet dyno's so take them for what there worth. The set-up its a sleeved H22 (built by Joe Cavangh at LENTECH) with a stock head and a T3 60-1 for the turbo.

May be a dumb question, but what's up with the dip after 4500 RPM?

that's pre-tec.

I'm not really sure either...could be a boost spike...you can see in the other graph it was going as high as 17.5 psi then leveling out at 15.5....the tuner also said I had a restriction in my exhaust(I put a cat in) that hurt the final numbers so maybe that has something to do with it...

Any traction issues?

What are you using for fuel management and fuel setup?

I was thinking more of a clutch slipping dip.

Good call.

Well regardless, ncie #'s. Are you out much this summer? I don't think I've seen it.

1st & 2nd are usless... 3rd & 4th hook good.
I'm using Hondata and 720 injectors for fuel.

I just got the car up and running..that's why you haven't seen me out & about.
I don't think the dip is anything major... It just looks more amplified cause of the way the graph is scaled out.

the dip in the dyno graph is when the cylinder head is maxed out on the tiny primary lobes of a stock camshaft until about 5500 when the secondary lobes kick in, why they didnt bump the vtec down to atleast 4500rpm is strange, makes for a much nicer powerband...

It's actually from reverberations in the intake tract.

Awesome numbers! You've been waiting for them for a long time!

Can't wait to see it out.

very nice indeed! Like it was said earlier, it's a little odd that they didn't bring the VTEC engagement point lower to smooth out the power band. Also, you say no work was done to the head? Upgrading your valve springs and retainers is HIGHLY recommended when going for big boost/high rev applications. A nice port & polish wouldn't hurt either.

With all that said, considering none of the things above were modified, I'm really impressed with the end result.

Nice job!

I was there with Vanilla, and the Synoptic Tuning guys are very nice and very imformative of the whole tuning process. They did lower the vtec engagement point and it created an even worse dip in the power band. Like Jasen said, there is something that is causing a restriction, which is most likely the small AR exhaust housing and the cat, with those free, the number would probably be closer to teh 400whp mark. Either way, this car is no joke, id be surprised not to see 115+mph traps.

I still think it's just pre-tec.

I don't think the dip is anything major...it just looks more pronounced because of the way the graph is scaled out...I'll never even see that part of the powerband on a drag strip....maybe on a road course it might be noticeable. I do however appriciate the postive input thank you.

ImPuLsIvE nice sig

I assume it was Nick who tuned your car. I know him pretty well and he definitely knows what he's doing.
