question about waxing

is it normal for there to be little wax dust bits when your rubbing it off with a soft cloth? or did i apply to much, not enough, didn't let it dry, or let it dry to much, waxed my first three cars this week and i'm just curious if i did it right.

Depending on the wax, some can be hard to remove.

In most cases, lots of residue or wax being hard to remove is due to either: high humidity or to much product.

I'd try using a little less next time...in most cases a little goes along way.

What kind of wax did you use?

i beleive it was turtle wax, and yeah i think i was a bit heavy on the application, now i know better,
