Transformers, that should be an honorable mention because half the chace sequence was CGI

something about that Audi S8 makes me wanna have one sooo effin' badly.

too bad Canada/US didn't start getting them 'till 2001 :-(

I prefer bullit mostly because of the authenticity. You know those actors were not in stunt rigs running at 1/4 speed... Great sound too.

Oddly enough, Bullit didn't impress me (I'm not dissing it, I just wasn't blown away by it). I had seen the original Gone in 60 seconds before I saw Bullit and I preferred the car chase in GI60S. Eleanor vs The world, lol. I think it's more because of the destruction and chaos rather than the actual stunt driving.

Actually it is not McQueen's car because the Mustang doesn't have hub caps. It is the Charger that he is chasing that loses the hub caps. If you really pay attention it is pretty funny.

And in Bullit, for all of the in-car shots of the Mustang.. here's how you tell if McQueen was driving, or if it was a stunt guy.

If the rear view mirror is down and you see McQueen's face, it's him driving.. whenever the stunt guy was driving, the mirror was flipped up.

Although McQueen did do most of the driving, they did use a stunt driver for some of the stuff, it wasn't all McQueen.

ya, that Challenger chase was pretty good, not the best but very entertaining.

My vote would be Ronin, maybe French Connection.
