Does anyone know how much the fine is if you are caught driving without insurance in a car, or a motorcycle?[/b]

Its about 5 grand fine,if the cop can see that you have a good sticker on you plate and the back of your ownership then you should get a ticket for no proof of insurance.
Anyone driving without insurance is a complete fucking dumb ass piece of shit any ways and should have to pay alot more then 5 grand...

Well i just want to know cause State Farm Screwed me over... Get this
I called them and got a quote for a bike i was looking at. I double checked with ANOTHER agent in the same State Farm Office. So now i am sure i got this quote i can afford so i go ahead and buy the bike.
I've been insured now with all the paperwork done and plates and all for about a month and i get a phone call yesterday from State Farm saying:
"Sorry, we over looked something, you don't have 5 years Driving Experience, and we have to cancel your policy"
When i gave all my information for the quotes and the real deal, i gave them, when i got my G1 and everything.
So now they F%@#ed me over. No one else will give me an insurance quote i can afford, and State Farm say that they can't do SH@T all to help me.
So now i got a 6000$ investment in my Driveway that i can't do SH@T with.
Thanks State Farm

A bike is not an investment.
I beg to differ
EDIT:
"Investment-
1.the investing of money or capital in order to gain profitable returns, as interest, income, or appreciation in value."
Sell it for more money that you bought it
I beg for insurance companies to fuck off and give better deals!

AFAIK, the software utilized by police entitles them to search through the MTO database. I presume this data base includes insurance company and policy numbers acssociated with a vehicle.

So why do they ask for the pink slip?

Did you happen to graduate from Algonquin College? If so, see my thread about Johnson Insurance:

If not, have you tried calling a broker yet? Broker's can usually get better deals for more high risk people. I used to go through Buckley Insurance Brokers. http://www.buckleyins.com/
Good Luck...hopefully you'll find an affordable quote. If not, sell the bike, and spend the money on strippers and booze. And bring me along since I gave you such a great idea :D
Until they have notified you - I'm not sure if it has to be in writing or not but I think so then you're insured. You're automatically insured when they give you the pink slip and pay the bill while it goes back to the insurance company for underwriting. If they say no, then you're insured until they exercise their right to terminate your policy which is what they've obviously done. Now go call a different insurer and get new insurance.

they dont know if your insured or not., just fake that you just got insured and havnt received the papers yet. dont get caught doing this twice because theyll know.
and second time theyll give you a ticket.. something like a 80$ fine.
but if you get caught in an accident of something theyll know if your insured and bang thats when the xxxx$ fine kicks in
