I tried Fred's before and it worked, yet the last 2 times we couldn't get it to connect to the vehicle.

Is there someone in the west or south end that can help me out?

Mine does that all the time actually. I just reboot the computer or unplug and replug the USB /obd2 sides. Sometimes it takes 3-4 tries but it always connects to the cars computer.
