The chrome i find is too harsh against the black, i wanted to make it a lil more incognito. also since the black coupes dont have chrome i wanted to do something that makes people look twice, its workin too, already had a couple old guys asking me how i got mine without chrome. In japan i guess the smaller 3L and 2.4L motor G's dont have the chrome. Main reason i did it though, is cuz they all have chrome...now mine doesnt :D

The Mercedes sedans are the same, they have chrome trim compared to none on the coupe.

I prefer the chrome trim, looks more stylish and gives some contrast.

kenny, seeim not insecure in wanting everyone to know that its an infiniti though, truth is i could care less. if i had my way id buy all the JDM Skyline step trim panels, steering wheel horn cover and badging and just rebadge it to really fuck people up. the car will look much better with the drop and 18" nismo wheels though too. i fidn th eproblem with the stainless is that the only wheels that look good on it are black with a opolished lip or a polished wheel. neither of which i really like. IMO the pic doesnt do it as much justice as seeign it in person, the lines are still distinctive, it just looks less like an old mans car and more like something along the lines of an IS350 or M3 sedan etc. much meaner looking with out the stainless. and besides which no wyou can tell paul (G-pwr) and i apart

better without! chrome is for grills not door handles! the only thing is the chrome strip follows a nice line at the roof of the G but f it! and it was you i saw sans chrome on merivale, im guessing :)
