in Calgary I saw an old guy drive around that style of truck as his daily drive... just a bit of rust, a bit beat up, and it had a spare wheel on the front (haven't seen that in a long time)

also saw an unrestored mid 50's chev truck in gatineau today hauling stuff... neat to see
