My cummins upgrades.

I have got a friend of mine to start to build me a New EL turbo manifold for my Cummins and also a new Banks sidewinder Turbo. I have also ordered the Banks Intake manifold and torque converter, also the Flex-a-lite dual 15" electric Fan kit to get rid of my stock fan clutch. I am sure with what i have now pluse all the new add on's this should put me well over the 4 digits in rwt. I will post pics as the parts come in and also pic updates. Cant wait! lol

Yeah hope so, well right now i am on stock torque converter and it put down 886 rwt. so with the new EL turbo manifold, the banks sidewinder turbo, Banks High ram intake manfold, banks torque converter, and the Flex-a-lite fans should put me well over 1000rwt i am thinking around 1200-1300. well i hope so lol.

lol thats sick man....i've got 2 Cummins trucks - a 12v '95 and a 24v '99 - both duallys/both work trucks 12v has 540,000K & the 24v has 370,000K

The 12v pulls harder than my 24v & has 2X the mileage!!! i think the Injection pump is done on my 24v....it had a bad lift pump when i bought it....and power is down.

Regardless if you've got any programmers for the 24v your getting rid of or WILL be...let me know

Well i have aftermarket Lift pump and fuel pump in it now. I had just thought of an idea for the intake manifold. I am going to replace the stock one with a round pipe same size but make a water cooled intake manifold that runs off its own water source and cooler, that way i have the intercooler and the intake cooler. This should help with cooling a lot and also keep the EGT's down. I might be getting rid of my edge power comp made for cummins 24v. its a good one its 120hp and 350trq output, so if i do get rid of it yeah for sure carm its yours. I want to see what i can put out with just those mods and maybe later spray propane.

im no deisel expert by any means, but i thought EGT's werent that much of an issue on deisel trucks. Thats why you can run 45+lbs of boost through them and not worry. Then again im sure you could detonate a deisel too, its just i dont think having a water to air intake cooler would be really worth it. A good air to air intercooler up front would do just fine i think.

Yeah well every small bit helps with power right lol I think the air-water cooled intake manifold would make a good gain. Its more to see EGT with Diesel then an Air-fuel. Egt plays a big part in diesels.
