REMOTE WIRE - YARIS.

i got an 06 yaris with the 6cd mp3 (factory). im trying to hook up the amp/sub to it, i have everything hooked up so far but im getting no power to the amp, i have my remote wire hooked up to my cigarette lighter (is this good/bad), i would prefer to hook it up to the remote/acc wire to the deck, but i dont which one it is.... any help? please...

I have mine hooked up to the fuse panel, by using a "Add-A-Fuse" thing. $10 at CT

I chose to hook it up to my windshield wipers fuse, which only work when the car is on ACC or on.
