Is something actually got organized i'd entertain taking my Talon out if the roads were dry.

Nope.

I don't want the salt to be slushy and spraying everywhere.. That would be uncool.

but white flaky snow and no presence of salt would be perfect, yes?

Snow-x season is almost beginning and the MCO's tenative schedule has been up for a while now. We even have an actual ice race planned this year. Go to http://www.mco.org under the Winter Ice Racing and Snowcross forum section for more details.

Event #1 is currently scheduled for Sunday, January 11.

Don't have a beater for winter racing? There's plenty of junkers for sale on this board, even AWD ones and under $1,000.
