1- Picked up the stang today, Fiore at S&G Truck and Autobody did a killer job on the car. I recommend him highly if your looking for body or paint work.

2-Pete @ blue line towing, was extremely carefull with the car, and managed to drop it in my garage, which is like threading a needle.

PS. thanks to Mike at no limits for recommending both!

Haha, sounds like Fiore to me. Max did the gruntwork I assume and Fiore did the paint himself?

For real

Did you stick with red?

went with the original color which is the red, some family members came over to see it, they were speechless. I went the extra mile with it and got all trim ect... remove and repainted to, so all the black on the car is nice and fresh, makes all the difference. I hurt my neck pretty bad this week and I can barely move so the pics will have to wait.

dont expect maacco pricing. fiore does very nice work and charges accordingly. paint a front bumper would probably be like 500 bux. but im not him. this is just a guess. call him and find out.

remember that you get what you pay for

just to give you an idea of pricing I was looking at, the hood was originally white but the car is red, to prep and paint the hood was 1200$ but the hood is now meticulous.

S&G does amazing work....but for $1200 to prep & paint your hood RED i'd say they saw you coming lol.

I spent 4 days wandering around at the trade show in Florida. Many of the cars on display there had $10-$15k paint jobs. They were nice. Unfortunately many people in this region want a $15k paintjob for $2500. I can't say that $1200 to do a hood is highway robbery.

I also got to spend some time at a shop that modifies high end cars. Unfortunately I wasn't in a position to take photos but you'd be lucky to get someone to buff your lambo for $1200. There are few people out there who are really good at what they do. Why shouldn't they be paid for their work and experience?

I didnt say thats what i ended up paying, none the less his quote at least 20% higher than all the other body shops for the entire job, and i would still go back.

All im saying is $1200 for a fiberglass hood & prep is nuts lol.....i mean its a solid color (Red) and probably one of the easiest colors to paint.

Definetly, there are some high $ paint shops out there.
