because all of us youger guys have so much money to dump into our cars.... maybe you should have a bit of support for younger guys who are trying to get into the car scene, but i agree there have been the common shit disturbers who have promoted a negative stereotype.

i understand that you dont want time being wasted but i was hoping to pay for a few runs to get it tuned a bit more

Well i just wanted to clear that up, because some people may interpret it that way.

Never would i put someone down or insinuate that my car or I am better than them for what they drive, that isnt me at all.

I do take pride in what I have, i and my friends built it & its a blast to drive...Its great proving people wrong with the carb deal.....thats as far as it goes.

I am all about the car enthusiast comradery. I like seeing the young guys making descisions on which route they will go with the limited funds as I was in the same boat when I was younger. I remember working 3 jobs while in high school trying to save up for a set of headers for my mustang. Good people is what its all about. Carm is still a youngin to me :)

What they will not need at Lentech Dyno Wars is a bunch of people bringing cars as a joke as we have all seen the guy that shows up in the plymoth voyager to get a laugh and this is not what Dyno Wars is about. Its for any enthusiast that has put his/her heart and money into their vehicle to get a general idea of where all their hard work has got them.

Lentech will do machine work on anything. There have been a few Nissan parts around lately......
The dyno wars are free but there will be no tuning or anything. Just strap the car down and do a pull. I understand what Carm is saying about some people that may show up. Everyone is welcome but we will not put your mom's hyundai on for fun.
Come out and see the other cars run and meet some new people. I can tell you it would be nice to put some faces to the names on here.
Last year we but 30 cars on the dyno through out the day... plus a couple HUGE doolies at the end of the day for fun...
PLS remember that we will try to please everyone and give everyone a run, but if 100 people show up we obviously can't get everyone on.
And there will be no ricer fly by's permitted. I'm pretty sure the cops already know we are having it and will be around the area as they are all the time already

whoa, why the bash? There is a few Corvette owners on this site and I have never seen them bash on anyone. I bought my C6 at 26 in one shot and I'm 29 now. It's not being settled in for a career or being old in my opinion. It's about wanting something so bad you willing to sacrifice in order to get it. Knox, I used to cruise with you when you had the geo. I understand what Carm said though after clarification. It is a waste of time if someone goes up there with a stock car with a few minor mods. I wouldn't even put my car on the dyno because I think it would be a waste of time.

i was number 27 on the list for the dyno at Lentech... they didnt bother setting up the dyno :-\ cant complain cuz it was free.. went to AEC and got much better results on the dyno with it setup properly.. like ppl say, u get what u pay for...

There are 3 mustang dynos in the Ottawa area of which 2 read similar and Lentechs on the low end, at the end of the day who cares what the dyno says, trap speeds don't lie.
