Barum Tires: Love or Hate, what's the word

Bought a set of Barum Bravuris that have yet to be installed (car is in body shop). Anybody have anything good or bad to say about them? I got a reasonable deal on them, same price as a set of Ziex 512's. Anyways, anything you fear mongers have to say is much appreciated!

I have them on my 2000 civic. Good tires, better than the falkens I had. Both quiet, and good in wet or dry conditions.

They have been around for a very long time.

They are owned by Continental AG and made in Czech Republic. If it makes you feel better and safer, there are quite a few public transit busses in some European countries that are/were contracted out to use only Barum tires.

Only problems I ever heard/saw was some of the heavy truck tires had faulty belts.

I paid 30$ for 4 of my used winter tires and used them for the 3rd winter already.

Sweet, I'm glad most people have good things to say about Barum! I'll give my reviews on the Bavarus after I try them out.
