Thanks guys we got best 9.14@164mph in 09, we have sold the current chassis and bought a 02 golf With Kens kustom chassis 3/4 tubular cage.
way more power ahead and looking for mid 8s and 170+mph

turbo set up is done, NEw wiring is 80% done Thanks to Pierre at the shop, all brakes, firewall mods, floor, is done Thanks to Denis, new short block with custom I-Beam and 625 bolts, custom Cp piston with steel pin, brand new forged crank, billet main caps, calico race bearing, arp everything. should fire up this week

weigh the car minus the windows, front end and axles at 1916lbs with me in it, our class allows 1900lbs wich we have some weight removing to do wich all we need to do is get some fiberglass doors and we are good but will start with all steel doors to stay on budget for 2010 and that leaves us maybe 100lbs to shave for next season

I used to use a scale like that when i helped builded some racecars back in the day. Wouldnt mind popping my car on one just to see where its at and see how the weight is distributed. Once again one of the nicest builds on this forum

car got cage certified to 7.50 today good for 3years, i wish i would run a 7s but 8s will do for now, at least we are safe and legit to run as fast as i want.
