I saw this car and it's a sweet project. Welding on the mounts looked really well done! Engine seemed to sit perfectly as well.

If they're welded properly it should be fine. This is a 200hp motor, not a top fuel dragster.

Bump for a sweet setup, why not store it for the winter and sell in the spring when everyone has spring fever?

How do you think the factory mounts are attached to the frame?

I am much more trusting in mig welding than spot welding.

agreed ......

If its done RIGHT there should be no problem. But a slight error in measurments or a shotty weld then yes you might see a few problems.

Good luck on the sale trade

What about when the motor comes out? I guess the mounts have to be cut out then new oem mounts have to be welded back into place. Good luck to you good thing they were welded in good. I guess it saved on buying HAsport mounts for proper installation.

Again, welded mounts will work GREAT. He saved some coin and did it the old fashioned way instead of wasting money on something useless. Stop ragging on his car. Go look at the welds and if they're shitty then we can complain...
