Most of the Grandprix 3.8 supercharger, turbo kits, remove the rotors from the blower assy, just use the housing as a big plenum, works very well.
Yes and yes. It was done using HPT and a garrett GT2871RS. At 7 psi it was significantly quicker than his buddy's car that was otherwise the same. It may have been done by trac in Montreal but I can't remember who did the work. I just tuned it. I think he said it cost him about $6k.

Twincharge is nothing more than a compromise.
Lose the stock blower and put the NA intake on. Add the turbo, make more power.

Garrett makes a kit for the Cobalt 2.2 Ecotec, why not just save yourself some money and get the base model and turbo that?
