F/S 97 Civic coupe 5spd

Been out of town the last two weeks so going to post it again and see what happens..

97 civic coupe , has a d16y8 motor with 120,000kms just dropped in, body it self has 226,000.. Original paint no accidents, no rust any where on this car, few hail dents here and there... has a 2.5 magnaflow exhaust and a fiber glass dash pretty much the rest you well see in the pictures. And yes this will pass safety with no air bag I have look into that issue, as for Quebec I am not sure but no problem at all it will pass safety

Any reasonable offer within the next few weeks will be accepted, lower ballers will be ignore and laughed at..

I agree with that. You, at least, gonna have to raise it back on original springs, install a factory steering wheel with airbag, and every single mechanical problem would have to be fixed. They are really picky there.

It will pass in Ontario no problem, thats not a bum safety either, Quebec is gay I dont even bother looking into it cuz like they other guy said you might as well make it stock again..

yeahi drove the car, i really dont think it has a d16y8 in it... i didnt pop the hood (which i should have) but it felt like a 1.6 non vtech... i have a 98 si and its alot quicker than that P.O.S. plus it has no power, no tach ( the one on the dash doesnt even work) and the cluster in the dash doesnt either... i really think its a DX or something... anyways you wont be able to get anything close to what you want... can get rid of it for you for maybe 1500-2000 if you were lucky...

That motor came out of my 97 Civic Si. It is the D16y8. Next time pop the hood before making assumptions.

Bumped been gone for a lil bit, for those who pm me I reply them all back..

I'm not much one for sticking up for civics, but pretty much if buddy open they hood he would have seen a d16y8, second if it had a fresh tank of gas it in it would have ran alot smoother, third the tach does work i take in in every night along with they othey parts that i can take off easly so some of these punk ass kids, dont try and pull a fast one and end up like the last guy getting his face bashed in... Thats all I got to say

just put this car in the trader and it will sell in 2 weeks... avoid all the hassle trust me...

Ya it going in this week coming up, bring it back home to, some pongo will buy it up, lol got to admitt a lil surpised that a clean car at this price that runs great hasn't sold yet.. I have sold one or two cars in worse shape then this for more and sold in less then two weeks.. ahh what can u do..
