Every case I found was either involving 350-400+hp cars and/or kids in the states bouncing off the redline every shift all day every day.

Go for it Andre! The more I learn about these cars the more I want one. The 2G styling is very nice too.

What about finding a 2nd block, once you have the car, and build that up while you're driving the stock one around? Aftermarket crank and bearings, have the block machined to tight specs including align honed, and the crank-walk troubles will be solved.

I think I made the right choice getting rid of mine, the mileage was getting high and the body was deteriorating...
