Woot for 1st place in PGT at our first event with the car and 0 shakedown. We finished the last few things in the parkinglot of the hotel the night before the rally... in -20 weather. Should be a fun season in PGT!
Alex won aswell! Congrats to your team! Now time for a new build ;)

It was a good time yesterday. Only problem is that they need to make it more accessible for spectators. We were there the whole day and only got to watch at 2 spots. Last year we were there until like 11pm.
Every year though we learn more. Things learned last year bring warmer clothes, and MUCH more beer. This year we learned to bring a couple of few of those firestarter logs and make a fire to keep warm.
Pulling cars out was pretty fun too. The first corner was Icy like crazy and I think 6-7 cars went in the ditch.

We (Landreville/Storry) got 1st in Group 2 regional. 4th group 2 national.
I was PISSED every time the car came in for service and all I had to do was tighten the skidplate, clean ice out of the rims and unstick the parking brake.
It's no fun if the car isn't falling apart!

I know what you mean. We had an exciting first 2 services.
1st one cut a corner too close and lost both right tires, tore off the mudflap and mangled the brake line on the passenger front. Got her into service only to find out our $900 AC hydrolics jack decided it wasnt gona work anymore. Had to use the scissor jack as all the teams around us were in at the same time. Fixed the mudflap and got 4 new tires on and sent it back out with a sketchy brake line.
2nd service the brake line had been leeking and Warren had to drive with no brakes for a few stages, so it had to be fixed. Had to cut, flare and add hardline, then flexline, bleed all 4 and get her back out. Didnt have any unions so ended up throwing a spare clutch slave in there as a union, got her back out 20 seconds late.
The rest went fairly smoothly, and we managed to pull of 1st place PGT by only 1 second!
