Question about subwoofers...

Probably a stupid question but whatever...

My dad give me 2 10" subwoofers in a box.. Is there anyway I can test them anyway and see if they even work?

Put an ohm meter on them and see if it matches the rating. Or just hook them up to something

get your car battery and put the positive to the positive and negative to negative on the subs and what you will be looking for is a unwanted smell and maybe a small fire. hope this helps
