This is the same powerplant in the Galant Ralliart as the 4G Eclipse. Same principles apply with tuning each. Unfortunately this thing came with a 5spd auto transmission so it was tough to get consistent results. Made 11whp and 16tq gains.

These sorts of flashes I'm also able to reduce the chance of getting a rear O2 check engine light. Remove the speed limiters and as you can see raise the rev limiter.

I haven't figured out how to change the shift firmness or shifting program yet but it's on the long todo list. Next step on this car or a 4G eclipse will be to tune it with a supercharger.

hack, besides the ralliart ecu, is this the max tune you provide to these ecu's for stock engines, or have you cracked the code to reflash and fully tune them also?

I can fully tune most of the Mitsubishi stuff. Every rom file is different when it comes from the car so sometimes it takes me a day or so to build a new definition. I've almost completed my new IDA plugin that will auto-extract a definition so that should speed things up a lot.

The Mazda stuff, it depends. Some of the disassembly is more complete than others but for the most part I can fine tune things. More so on the Mazdaspeed stuff. Simple things like fuel and timing maps are not that difficult. Other things like launch control, switchable maps and such are 100's of hours more complicated.
