Hey guys,

I finished the head change on my friend's Talon, and having set the timing today, it is running well!

I would like to thank all of you for your advice and tips, namely Paper Clip Boy, Lancer, and Green TSI for their wealth of DSM advice.

A big thank you to Mike and everyone at No Limits for their helpful advice, excellent service and fair prices. The new shop looks amazing, and I will certainly be back!

Thank you to Hackish and Brett for the balance belt traded for beer, which is now happily balancing.

Thanks to Nathan for the used cylinder head at a very fair price! ' a great guy to deal with!

So we'll see how she holds together, but for now it is running well, even for a higher mileage older car. It makes me want to get a DSM of my own :P. The 4g63 is a nice little engine, though I feel somewhat complex. But I can see why they have such a following, idiosyncrasies aside.

So thanks again everyone,

Jim

Glad to hear everything went smooth.

Hey Honda ppl that read this, take note from J.R., Once you got 4G63, You never go back, 500whp on stock shortblock>VTEC anyday.

Glad to have been of help. Did you remember to bleed the flux capacitor? Car cant reach warp speed if you dont.

Noted and filed in the blue box for future use.

Always fun seeing an engine go back together and actually work.
