Speacial order from my suppliers, check out magnaflows, borla does not sell much compared to magnaflow, so pricing and availability is much better.
Also look at the dynomax ultraflo welded race mufflers.

They are for my GTP & from what I've gathered they are the next quietest from stock. My 7 year old stockers are wearing out and I think that by next year I'll be pushing enough power that they will need to be upgraded.
What would you reccomend as giving a nice sound? I'm really worried about the drone that Flowmasters & other 2 chamber mufflers create around 2000 RPM (which is my highway RPM).

Regardless of muffler, you have to run a good quality resonator thats at least 16" long to control drone, dont waste time with cherry bombs( ) they tend to blow out and get louder, plus the id of the inner tube is smaller than the id of the inlet nipple.
I get great feedback on the dynomax bullit race muffler.

Also I would not go 3" front to back, go 2.5" from your split back, 3" mufflers tend to drone more IMO.

Borla is quite though, biggest complaint I get with borla is that it too quite.

What are the guys at OQ saying about the magnaflows?, too loud?

Magnaflows are supposed to be the 2nd choice after the Borla's, but I find that a lot of guys have them. I think that there are 2 models of the magnaflows that the GP guys use, one being louder than the other..at least that's my understanding.
I'm currently running a 36" glasspack in place of the cat & stock resinator (exhaust is 3" dp from my headers to 2.5" to the Y & then stock size from there, I'll go 2.5" the whole way this winter), I've wanted to keep the sound down as it's quite amusing to see ricers faces when my car hands them their asses..a too loud of an exhaust will give too much away.

regardless of what exhaust you get, it will sound like balls on a gtp.

the best exhaust I ever heard, and the one I truly wanted was the corsa exhaust, but it was fucking expensive and apparently pretty restrictive.

the best thing to do, would be to get the biggest fucking resinator you can find, a decent hi flow cat, a couple of mikes quiet magnaflows, and get dan the muffler man to build you an exhaust. and hopefully stop you BRAAAAAPing about.

Have you ever heard a Borla Pro XS muffler on a 3.8?
I've heard many, many sound clips on the net & outside of stockers it's the quietest aftermarket muffler I've heard (I presonally find the Magnaflows to be quite a bit raspier than the Borla) & again with what I'm doing for next year my stockers will not longer fit the bill (to restrictive) & I don't want to run a cutout either.
Also if you didn't notice I'm currently running a 36" long resinator, which was the longest that I could get at the time.
Flowmasters & pretty much any other 2 chamber will create drone & sound way too raspy for my liking, that's why I'm staying away from those.
The issue now is that it seems like these Borlas are going to be harder to find than I thought.
