My LSD wants SAE 80 GL-5 as per the FSM .

Is it ok to use 80w90 GL-5 ?

put the weight your diff recomends..

also dont forget friction modifier, so your lsd doesnt burn up

Well , the manual only says SAE 80 , but Im going to have to assume that it is SAE 80w 90 because that is what the transfer case takes.

Friction modifier ....? Im probably not going to do this but what have you used?
