Dwight has done it again! :)

I have been running my 4x4 with unbalanced 33" tires for over 2 years now. I'd been looking into sandbagging my tires to balance them for about the last month. I couldn't get any decent feedback as to how much sand I would need. Not to mention, after calling around to a few shops near my house it seemed most garages don't want anything to do with the job. Those that would do it didn't have the product, or didn't know where to get it.

I called Dwight Friday afternoon at 3pm, explained my issue and he asked me to come down right away (which turned out to be Saturday morning - my earliest convenience). He suggested using Ball Bearings to balance the tires, as an alternative to stick on weights or clip-ons which get ripped off on the trails.

What a difference!! The truck drives so so SO much smoother than it has in the past.

Big thanks to Dwight, and I give The Tire Shop my absolute recommendation for their services! Go there, you won't be disappointed. :D

maybe i should give them a call.. my 33's arnt balanced either.. its been all summer..i couldnt get anyone to do it.. unless i stuck a shitload of weights all over my rims but i didnt wanna do that cuz i needed a shitload.

are the bearings heavier than weights?

what did it run u to balance all 4 tires?

Are there not any shops in town that can balance the tires seperately from the rims? Big tires like that are usually balanced by placing stick on patches on the inside of the tires so that if and when the tire moves on the rim it doesn't go out of balance.
