auto starter question

i bought a car in the spring that has a compustar auto starter that had been disabled for the non-winter months and need to re-enable it for the winter. im wondering if anyone knows how to reprogram this unit (CM5200 is the model on the computer unit). it only needs to start the car. no locks or trunk.

I have the same unit that I took off my gf's previous car, but I think it has been programmed not to use tach sensing. would they reset the unit to default settings for me at futureshop in southkeys? does anyone know how much would it cost?
