Hey guys! New to the site, figured I would introduce myself!

My name is Devin, this is my second honda, my first was a 97 accord coupe.

Car is a 2000 EK Hatch
-5 speed

No power options, no power steering, nothing!

Car is currently at PSI tuning undergoing a B18B1 swap with turbo!

I could care less about authenticity, because lets face it, if that is what I wanted, I wouldn't of purchased a honda. I wanted something small, and fun to drive, if my car doesn't give anyone the wow factor, It's no bother to me, that being said, I can't wait to get my car back!

i was just being an asshole. if i can offer any real advice, dont waste your money on a fwd econobox. being able to do a burnout in 3rd gear from a roll is funny for about a week. that being said, you'll still have plenty of fun with the car.

do you know what turbo you're using?

so what was the point of spending money at a shop when all you couldve done was post up you needed help. a one weekend and we couldve swapped in your engine, and put the kit together, along with a tune.

basic setups arent supposed to be taken to shops.

sorry to break it to you, but 8pounds on a stock motor will not yield 260whp, realistically you'll be putting 220-230whp with psi's fantaboulous street tune

I think the quoted amount was max of 250-260bhp. Which is around 220-230 at the wheels. The kit was built by me about 7-8 years ago and has remained relatively untouched. I don't remember what it originally put down - maybe if smoothgs or the guy who bought it after him (nick???) are around they'd remember.

Ive got a B16 head if you want it but honestly vtec will just kill that engine quicker. LS Boost for the wincicles

Fa reals though... you have no idea if your engine has issues right? It's brand new "not even broken in yet".

This has been complete now for awhile and running great, tuned for 10 PSI, would really like to get this thing on a dyno sometime in the near future!

And grey area, I'm not %100 sure what you mean by vtec will kill this engine quicker? This particular engine has been boosted and running this exact setup for the last 5+ years, and still does not burn any oil between changes. I might be interested in your b16 head tho, in a perfect world I would like to go v-tec and LSD by spring this year
