adding to existing alarm

so i have a 2 way compustar alarm. It does not have the auto start feature, but now i want it. Is there a way i can add a remote start to it? or can i buy a different brain and where? thanks

haha I literally just got off the phone with Futueshop southkeys asking the same question. I have a compustar as well...

Basically what I was told is you'll have to buy a car starter (they have one for $150) and install that. then you can program it so that your compustar system talks to the remote starter only issue is even though we both have 2-way remotes you will not get confirmation returned back to your remote stating the car has been started (not that big of an issue). Also, if the car is manual it will be another $70 on top.

Ok cool, I'll have to look into that. You think incould just buy any autostart? And how would you program it to use the 2 way remote? I already disabled my clutch safety switch so you think i could save that $70?

No idea... the guys over at futureshop are always helpful! Or i'm sure Shon would be able to tell you no problem.
