I have a set of fiberglass fenders flares that I'd potentially like to recreate in fiberglass, or CF, and was wondering What would be the best way going about this.. Would I need to create a mold, or could I just put a mold release paste between the flare, and the new one I'm making

tape up your up your fiberglass fenders with Green masking tape (this will protect your existing FF) then add a nice coat of car wax (release) and add resin. If you want to go the extra mile lay aluminuim foil over the tape then wax and start laying resin. This will create your mold. Id do it on the outside, its better to have it a little larger than too small.

Do not rush the process.
