hey boys, I have unfortunately been on-foot for the last 2 days. I sold my truck and the car-deal I was interested in, turned to shit.

I am looking at a few jdm cars right now, this guy at fatihi Auto in montreal seems to have good prices.

I am a bit interested in their 91 RX-7

Can anyone with experience tell me, what am I getting into with this Wankel motor? Experience with those rx-7 or experience with those importers?

I am also looking at their mr2

Basically, I want to buy, cash, within the next few days, a rwd sport car that dosen't have rust. Mechanical I can deal with, If you know someone selling one, let me know aswell, I am fairly open to suggestions. I just want something that I can actually buy parts for. (No skylines)

Any tips, help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am probably renting a car and going down there tomorrow AM unless another option comes up.

my friend his going to buy their supra monday.

he told me services is good.

BUT.. the seal .. at the crankshaft, is leaking... some minor repairs to do on it.

i'd say.. have a mech inspection on it before buying it.. but yeah, i was hoping to sell my Eg to go buy that black mr2 actually..
it looks sweet!

http://www.jdmskyline.com.. go sathurday. ask for Patrick, excellent service and the guy knows HIS CARS!!! Montreal also (St Leonard) he has plenty of cars in stock + low prices

good luck!!

imo.. get away from rx7.. i had that advice from plenty of guys who owns one, they all say it requires maintenance and good care .. add more $ once and a while.

get a 7500$ 300zx and drop a rb26dett in it.. :) !

Again, GOOD LUCK

RX7s are fine, but YES they do require a MORE CARE than other cars.

rule of thumb

40% garage 40 % repair 20 % drive .

Hehe , just kidding.

FCs are dead simply to work on and nice. Handle well.

BUT if you want something that requieres less slave work, get the MR2 or celica or anything else.
