Yes KVR does turn cars into monsters.

In a retarded bride of frankenstein kind of way. Complete with shoddy brakes, giant wings, hopes, and dreams.

Where's that vid of them standing/sitting on the front end of that Prelude while it's on the Dyno?

No its a silver prelude. i think close to 22 lbs of boost. Can't hook up, he has a stage 5 clutch that slips and slips.

Didn't it blow up? I wouldn't mind having the only Prelude around here that can handle 20+ psi ;)

Might of... last time i saw it was this summer, we did a couple of passes... all i can say is 10psi > 20psi :D too bad his clutch wouldn't hold it's an embarrassing way to lose

a little bird told me the reason his clutch always slips is because he doesnt know how to use it..

i have a feeling someone who has something to do with kvr lives in the same housing complex with me and shares the same garage. that skyline was in there all summer, now there is a jdm celica, and there is a jdm civic always parked outside. all with kvr stickers on them.

I was being specific to this situation  I'll let Frank Caliendo doing his John Madden explain it for you: "You see, what he did here was, beat a car with more boost, and then he made a sacastic statement about less boost being better."

*sigh* you're right though... I guess I need more boost!

 April 1st... 1st day of summer for me

haha I rofl'ed

How can someone not know how to drive so badly that they make their 'stage 5' clutch slip? Wouldn't a stage 5 have a friction point the size of my peni... euhh... small?

Depends what 'stage 5' actually means. My stage 2 Exedy clutch is the equivalent to a stage 6 Bully clutch or something like that.

I've never used an exedy so i can not comment on it's strengths (my neightbour did however buy an exedy stage 2 for his integra and it's not that impressive over the stock gsr clutch)... however I do have a Bully stage 3 dual friction 6 puck and it is a monster. It is so potent and grips so well that i never worry about clutch slippage (that 1000km break-in was a b!tch though...)

In regards to buddy's prelude... the clutch issue stems from the fact that something was spilled I believe (or improperly cleaned) on the pressure plate/flywheel (one or the other) and someone was to lazy to clean it up (or replace teh clutch and have the flywheel resurfaced again). So it's not bully's fault :D

buddy boys clutch slippage was the result of him being a dumbass and went to the ocs and participated in the burnout comp without the break in period so he then tried to take it out himself and brought it to
bully claiming it was defective, but they told him that there were an uncountable number of hotspots and that they saw him at the OCS doing a burnout the same day he got the clutch, which was a thursday 1000km on the clutch in less than 4hours? I think not.
