Double din problem!

I have an older pioneer double din in my truck has always done me well, works great today I went to put in a cd, screen opened up fine to put the cd in, about an hour later go to switch up the cd and now it won't open, screen won't even tilt, could the motor that powers the screen to move be dead?

happened to me on a pioneer deck as well...seems to be a repeating issue with motorized parts they have.

get an ipod or mp3 player. hook it up to the aux input. i havent used a cd in ten years.
i would be interested in buying your deck if you were to sell it.

Deck is mostly always hooked up to my iPhone but a buddy of mine from florida sent me a two mixtapes, got them in the mail yesterday... And now it's stuck in there.

It's the pioneer AVIC-D1

did you try a hard reset on the deck? putting a pin in the manual eject right below the power button and hold it for 30 seconds, Or un hook the battery for a few minutes
