We used to sell them for between 120-$125.00 range, but the distributer (JRP) decided to become pretty miserable to deal with, and didnt want our business, so we no longer support them in any way, and never will again I might add.
I can get them from edelbrock, bbk, mallory etc, but the pricing is too high from them.
For the differance in pricing from ebay to local, keep in mind you have warranty if bought locally.

Acctually I just went threw it with them and JRP give no warranty on walbro pumps.

JRP does not give warranty, yet walbro offers full warranty, and also the ontario consumer protection act also mandates warranty on all parts sold.
The useless folks at jrp prefere to sell and take your money, but there sevice is the worst I've ever personaly dealt with.

With some things you can do better on ebay. Some things you want to stay away from because they're junk and that explains a really low price. If I were to order a bunch of walbro pumps on ebay you can bet that I'd be paying a lot to have them brokered over the border.

There is apparently a walbro knockoff that's made in China and it even says walbro. I tuned a customer's H22 turbo in Montreal and the pump could not supply enough fuel even though he claimed it was a 255. I spoke with the shop later and they said that it was a chinese made knockoff pump. I didn't personally see it but they said that they'd be contacting walbro about it. Just be careful when you order stuff.

I never had a problem with a walbro,

but there is a ton of fakes now, since a few years ago , so alot of people got stuck with garbage that wouldnt suply the rated amoount or would take a $hit very quickly.

I think this has been posted before ,

but here you go ,

and a video explaining the stuff

I've installed over 50 of these pumps and the only times I've had trouble I've found out that they were fakes. Buy Nick's it's a real one.

90% of the walbro pumps on ebay are counterfeit.

I've have Walbro pumps in 4 cars over the years, and I'd never put one in a street car. They whine like crazy. It will drive you frickin' nuts.

Look at used OEM RX-7 or Supra MKIV pump, they are whisper quiet and will flow more than enough for most sub 400hp cars.

Thats why you buy legit ones from Vendors, or Tapp Auto.

The noise of a walbro has a lot to do with how it's installed.
