Hey, the air just stoped blowing the other day on my 91 civic. Its been going on and off (as if it was shorting out) and just stopped. When it worked the heat came out hard and hot. Now its just not blowing any air.
Let me know guys. Thanks.

check under your hood by the firewall close to the charcoal canister. there is a little wire thats connected to the switch in the dash, it jsut lets coolant to your heater core, or blocks it off, often enough the wire fell off

He's saying that the blower motor has stopped working. It's probably the control switch for the blower that's no good. The only setting that works in my 91 Integra right now is the FULL BLAST last setting. The first three don't do a thing. Hope you figure it out!

Umm....... You DID check the fuse right......?

If it stopped all of the sudden, check the fuses.

If it only works on a few settings, there is a 4 prong plug behind your glove box on the blower motor/heater core dealy that connects to a sort of resistor box. They go bad, especially on the older Honduhs.

88-89 are different than 90-91, go to a junkyard and grab one. Will either be 2 10mm bolts or 2 phillips screws.

if it was the resistor the blower would still have power on the max setting

needs a fan motor.

i had the same prob, and with mine it turned out to be both, the resistor box was $30, and the blower motor was $80 direct right from honda, and if you plan on driving it all winter i definately suggest gettin a new one. its worth the few bucks cause it suxs if it was to happen to you again. good luck
