I just picked up a 92 civic hatch SI, with about 220k on it.
First off...its hitting beacon auto body tomorrow...fixing some minor rust.
Second... bought a tokico/neuspeed suspension kit from facundo.
Third....what else?
I most likely will need a new clutch soon. But I am just wondering...without swapping out the whole engine..for something else..what are my options with this current d16z6 engine? I dont want to spend a crazy amount of money..but enough to have some fun with my new car. any suggestions?

Since your on a budget and want to have some fun with your new car but still wanna watch the money I got a perfect idea.
Wait Until the day after Canada Day, Go to your Local Giant Tiger and buy all of their on sale Fireworks. Pull all the spark plugs and pour in some mashed up firework powder-make sure to pack it tight, place a nice healthy fuse in the middle, Pour some cement in each hole, let it dry. Use remaining fireworks to decorate interior.
2 days later the cement is dry and car is loaded with explosives, Get your most annoying friend go light all the fuses and BOOOM. Happy 4th of July. 8)

Or get a DSM and pickup a CAA card. You'll have fun with the DSM, and CAA can tow it home.

Is that after you drive it into the side of a building?

thanks for the no help replies.
I would have about 1500$ or so money to work with....My civic is sitting at beacon for a almost complete paint job....so this is why i got just a little to play with.
Click another idiot gone.
For your car you could get a performance cam, header plus a chip & tune and change your clutch. That would make it a little faster and take care of a future slipping clutch.

Dunno, haven't done that in a while. Now let's try that with a DSM and see if the outcome is any better.

Hackish can tune your ECU, much better than the "cuztom" programs on Ebay.
I'd do suspension and brakes, at least that you can use more frequently than extra power without getting labelled as a street racer.

OK, thanks.
I bought tokico illumina/neuspeed suspension..I will look at a brake system soon. Does hackish sell ECU's? or just tune them?

He chips the stock ECU.
There's a shit load more that can be done in the suspension than springs & struts. Bushings, bars, sway bars...

All in all, fuck your cement comments and just help this guy out with an idea or two for his car... hackish thank god atleast you know what its like to be in this kids shoes, he just wants advice, not stupid remarks... obviously he just doesnt know all his shit like some of the other "guru's" on here....
anyways i just had to say something, i am sick of threads just getting bombarded with stupid comments about a stupid joke that has gone on for wayyy tooo long... and from a joke it turns into a debate about how long it takes for cement to dry! BAH!
