It can be chipped and tuned to run a B16. The fuel and timing curves for a P28 are completely wrong for a B16 so it will not be able to run the engine safely.

Does it really have to be tuned? Could you chip the ECU, and then just run stock B16 fuel/timing maps? I can't see why this would not work, on a stockish B16.

ok well the guy has a boost setup on his b16... i dont know if he removed it and dont want to play with his tuned ecu..

i have a p28 and he asked me if it would "fit" on his b16

i'll have to ask more question

Yes you may be able to load "stock" B16 maps in it but you would not be able to use the P30 code without making modifications - for example disabling the knock board. Also the injector drivers are slightly different so it requires a modified fuel offset value. Sum and short of it - it needs to be tuned the maximise the potential. I could probably provide a map for it.

Thanks Hackish! I'll let you know if the guy buys it!
