Audio trouble... electrical nightmare!

Hi!

my EF is audioless since i bought it.. the dude reduced the price if he kept the audio and like a nice guy, he cut the wires instead of taking off the connectors.

Now im stuck with this electrical nightmare!!

Would someone be cool enough to help me out here??? I found 2 rca "type" of connectors under the glove compartiment...

should i be looking for a complete wiring from a "stock" car?

I will I can fix this for sure are you putting in an aftermarket deck? If so i can have this fixed up in under an hour.

well i have an aftermarket deck.. an old one! cant find the freaking connector for it. so i found an old EG radio cassette that i was going to put in at the moment... but its too much of trouble for me.. not that my self esteem is low but its just too much for me !

i might have to wait til i work to go buy a freaking deck @ best buy

you can buy a stock harness from the dealer, I don't think they're too expensive.

You could buy the harness, unclip it from the car's main harness and clip the new one in, it will also have the factory end on it so you could either install the EG deck or you can buy the $10 conversion harness to wire up any aftermarket deck - just connect the wires by matching colours.

the thing that scares me.. i found some more wires under the glove box.. rca connectors..

Yeah, that would be your best bet..

I have a parts car at home you could dig in - but it's in a huge snow bank and I'm in Florida unil January 8th...

Not sure exactly where the radio harness clips into the main dash harness... but when you have one from the dealer you'll have a better idea...

everything should get back to normal!! tomorrow if im not too busy, i should be removing the harness from my friend's old EF!!!

If you arent finished wednesday, ill try to stop by and give you a hand. Ive already installed a couple of radios in civics with cut harnesses cuz the previous owner did the same thing, he cut the whole harness...
