1st gen 4g63 head from a working engine with great compression
Recently installed Competition Cams 101200 (HKS 272 equivalent)
only 500 kms on the new cams. These cams give most stock engines a 35whp increase and an increase in hp from 4500rpm to 8000rpm.
Biggest cam you can use while having near perfect idle and great driveability and fuel economy.

I changed turbo size to a turbo that needs to be winded up to 9000rpm.
A change in cam is order.

You get the head with good valves (not bent) with the cams.
Ready to bolt on. The head surface is good the headgasket was perfect and never leaked or pushed coolant. And almost new set of cams.
paid 599$ + tax for the camshaft set a few months ago.

Asking 800$ for everything.

700$ new price !

hey man, the cams are awsome and all but they are used.
also a 4g63 stock head isnt really worth too much.
whats your firm price?

I there is about 1000kms on the cams. Pretty much like new.

For the head, it isn't worth much when the condition is unknown. But try to find one in a scrapyard that is a KNOWN good one. I had so much fun finding one with my old N/A talon. Only to install it (it looked perfect) and have zero compression due to bent valves on the head. This is a known good head with no leak, no warpage good valves/springs and lifters, no oil leak etc...

To me that is worth easily 400$ by itself. They are 800$-1000$ to rebuild. And more often than not, they are never as good as stock.

700$ for both is my firm price. I would be giving away the head for free at this point Considering the cams came in at about 700$ taxes in.

This is an especially good buy if you happen to have broken the timing belt and wish to have 35 WHP extra while fixing your problem !
Or if you are changing the headgasket and still run stock cams. These are the best cams for the street/strip money can buy if you care about driveability.

I don't know for sure. I think a lot of people are able to pass emissions with them. The vacuum hardly changes at idle compared to stock cams. That means a good clean burn.
