So what would you rather?
These are all cars of roughly the same vintage that would sell for a similar price today... Also, they are either stock with decent performance of modified in a "generic" way to make them comparable. All cars would be in the condition to put the in the $4-5g range.. BTW, this isn't a poll for me, just curious :P

Beauty is eye of the beholder? weren't you just preaching to 93Civickid about not judging on appearances?
...Anyways, To be honest, and I'm not saying it because i'm not a Honda nutrider I think the Civic is the least attractive of the bunch.. I guess I just like the retro boxy style.

Lol.. no it's not Fabian's. It belongs to a guy in Gatineau. The drivetrain is unmodified. I think the only mods (non OEM) it does have is lowering springs, and yes, it's actually lowered, lol. The rear Spoiler is of an old BMW if I'm not mistaken. The front lip is was an actual GM optional accessory that is extremely hard to find. It's one lip you don't wanna bust up.
I think he's asking around 3500$ for it. I wouldn't buy it because I already own a 17 second quarter mile car... lol.. but that Z24 is fukin' beautiful IMO. It's painted Mazda RX8 red.

Yeah it is really nice.
Sorry, i didn't meen that was the boosted one, I'm just asking if he's on RL..
Either way they're two very nice cars IMHO.

Shit, I probably left it in another thread... I'll have to go find it.
thats actually a really clean civic. wow.
but i would take the Talon as my number 1 choice. i remember in high school buddy picked up a 91 TSI AWD just like that. i fucken loved that car.
The sbc Chevette would be cool, but the awd Talon stands out above the rest easily. It could be made to look nice too - I don't think it's ugly at all!

Can't beleive the GLH is in second place in votes. HA
For Speed, I'd go Talon AWD,
For looks, I'd go Rabbit (man this picture is awesome with the Ronals)
For the WTF is that thing effect : go Omni!
For pure tire melting retardedness : Chevette with SBC
Depends what you wants. I voted Omni, but I'm biased...

Id go Chevette with the SBC. Had alot of fun with one with the 4 cyl in it! Shove a 350HO in the :) that would be fun as hell, and cheap to replace when that one gets destroyed.

my dad had the OMNI GLH, and it was damn fast for a stock grocery getter, on a trip to Newbruswick in 91' he raced a Camero SS and put it to shame.. a few mods and this is a little monster.
other then that, im kinda partial to Talons, getting close to owning as many of them as Hondas.. Easy and cheap to make fast, start with a new tranny before anythink else IMO! other then that solid cars!

The Omni GLHS,
Fastest production 4 door car in the world in 1986, even that BMW had to remove some of their ads in the USA because they were advertising being the fastest.
Of the list in the poll, the Talon was the quickest compared to the omni. The AWD and the 8 extra valves had to do something with it 8) On the highway though (where the AWD advantage is nullified), I've witnessed a mid 14 second Omni pulling away from a low 13 second talon. Fun times!
Omni GLH Turbo. Cheap, fast (relatively!), fun.
