View Full Version : tire repair
who does tire repair besides crappy tire?
my tire's slowly losing air, I am thinking it's the compound they put around the tire to make it stick to the rim, I just need someone to look at it
CT wanted 50$ cause it's a 'low profile' tire...as apposed to the 25$ for a regular tire

even $25 seems much...they charge $15 at most garages that ive been...if you bring it to them.

I believe the tire shop is $25 if you want it done right(tire taken off and proper rubber plug inserted). Or $10 for the quick plug while the tire is still on the car. But call them and conferm the prices.

I've used that tire gunk stuff in the past with good results.
Dump that stuff into the tire and then inflate right away and then take it for a 10-15min drive on the highway.
No more leak!

because filling your tire with crap is great for the balance of the tire. And extra weight.
Penzoil used to charge $15! used to take me about 30 minutes to repair. Don't ask me how a real garage can charge only $15...
big thanks to THE TIRE SHOP...
tire was punctured at a very odd angle, and they gave it a shot...we'll see if it holds up
need anything tire related, go see these guys, I'll def be going back :D
