I have been searching for an eclipse GS-T for a while now and almost purchased one 3 months ago but the deal did not go threw.
Im looking more towards the convertible but not too picky if its not.
I cant seem to find anything on the trader, I found some of them, but they are a bit shaddy.

I love my talon but its too slow for my blood. I need an upgrade!
If anyone has anything or know of an eclipse for sale, please post or pm me.

Hard to find in Ottawa and even harder impossible to find one with a clean title.
A theft recovery is the better of the two...

Paul at Astra motors has access to getting them. Yes most are accident repairs but see if he can land a theft recovery one.

I searched for about 6mths for almost exactly what I wanted.
If you're looking in the trader you have to look in both 95-99 Eclipse as well as 95-99 Eclipse Spyder.

You won't always get the same results between the two. I've found there's always a few in the 95-99 Eclipse search criteria.

Also look into buying one from eBay or from the states. They were more popular than Civics down there and usually cost a lot less. Importing one shouldn't be that big of a pain just do your homework.

I have an Eclipse available. 1997 Eclipse GST with fully rebuilt motor. Runs mint and pulls hard.

i love the way the 3g's look... they have good aftermarket support towards performance too... albeit the 2g has the handling aspect covered in the AWD but correct me if im wrong... the 2g spyder isnt available in AWD is it? the 2g has more overall potential, im not sure about everyone else, but my goal would never be to have a 800 awhp car... so that is not important... also i find the interior painfully uncomfortable and cramped.. the 3g is well spaced out...

you find the interior cramped? im a big fatso and i think the car is VERY comfy! i think if i remember the 3g was pretty comfortable too, it does have a slightly larger back seat.. 1gs and 2gs should have never come with rear seats IMO, unless all your friends are midgets or have no legs..

Haha yeah. The backseat in my eclipse is horrible. what was the point? add more weight?

Althought 2gs are world known for their crankwalking issues. Mine is fresh rebuild including throwout bearing so no crankwalk for me anytime soon :D
